Blindfolded challenge by Obelis Blindfolded challenge by Obelis
I did because :icontoddntheshiningsword: suggested I do the blindfolded challenge. :la:

During this challenge, you draw something with open eyes, and then draw the same thing blindfolded. Here is my result!

I feel like this is actually pretty good!

I've gotten to where I can draw relatively the same with my eyes closed. Don't ask why

Thank you! :aww:

Probably many instances where you draw like this? :o It could be that you make a lot of blindfolded drawing contests with your friends... after all, practice does wonders.

drawing blind doesn't really have a purpose...

Here is how another person explained it:

It can be good for entertainment, good if you're blind, (of course) and help you understand how things could be if the world was different for you.
So for something like this, it's more about the process than the result.

yes, such practices were offered on a blind-awereness day in Croatia I remember. However one should be able to have compassion without them as well. Losing your sight certainly is a big change.

I am blind 5-10 minutes after I wake up. Only then sight returns to me. :o Such practices are good to me. What if one morning my eyes don't return?

well it is normal one's vision is blurry once you just woke up. You need to sleep 7 hours at least you know, to be healthy?

I know. Instead of blurriness, it's complete darkness, though.

Checked. The operation would cost 3000 euros, so I'm waiting for the times when I'll be financially stable.

Answering her indirectly because I'm scared of all your friends:

That's a clever explanation. :o I myself couldn't have explained it better.

Are you scared of her because she rarely uses emotes? :XD:

Good then you can tell her that explanation.

I am too afraid to tell her because she rarely uses emotes, and the two times I did talk to her were both times that I was wrong. Getting into a conversation you were not supposed to be in is impolite enough, but doing it and being proven to be wrong for doing that is even worse. So having that happen twice is worst of all.
So because of this I'm going to be afraid of your other friends also, even though I don't even know who they are.

HOW IN THE WORLD DID YOU DRAW THIS SO WELL BLINDFOLDED?!?! :omfg:
:shocked:THIS IS REALLY GOOD!! :wow:

Everything you drew is located so close to where it's supposed to be! I envy you for this. :3 There are just the tufts of hair on the ears that have truly gone astray. That's it! HOW?! WOW. When I did this, my lines were everywhere and the entire picture was a garbled mess. Stuff was broken everywhere. Todd's shoulders were so high they were high above his head. :XD: When you find it, you'll know.

You had a good way of keeping track of where you were on the paper. Also, you must have drawn bigger so you'd know where you'd be better than me.
One thing I did, though was draw the blindfolded picture with almost the same level of detail as the regular. I even got the shines in Todd's eyes and the trim on Eva's robel almost all in. :aww:

And look at these Comments here! The people are amazed! :community:  There are Comments here for half the people who viewed! Even though half of those are Replies from you. 8-)

I did this many times in school before. :meow: I belonged to unofficial chess club (we secretly founded it in school psychologist's room) and when we got tired of playing chess, we did blindfolded drawings. One time I even drew my classmate's portrait which was more precise than what I made with my eyes open. But that was the only time when I succeeded like this.

Shoulders above his head? :XD: Maybe Todd just decided to stand on his arms for the next picture? If your pencil already doesn't listen to you, so may your characters. =p

Oooh, so now I will go to the picture hunt! :la:

You didn't find it today. :nana: Scraps is not where it's buried, despite what it sounds like it should look like. =P

That's a good observation about my pencil. I told you my pencil is like a store: It has hours of operation. If I try to get it's services after a certain late hour, it will not listen to me. Or it'll listen, but it won't do as I say. Why shouldn't my characters do that, too? :XD:

Wow about the secret chess club. Chess was that simultaneously unpopular & popular at your school? That almost sounds like something from an anime. Not quite, but almost. A group of schoolgirls (with blue skirts) forms a secret chess club in their school- in the psychology classroom of all places- but the girls also have secret abilities that let them do amazing things, and there's chess also. But chess if forbidden, so the entire countrywide chess tournament is underground, and all kinds of intense chess games are played in it, and it ends up being a show about saving the country and winning at chess. And of course one of the characters would be an artist. That would be you.
Not quite, but close to this:above:, is what it sounds like this was like.

When you said it, it really sounds like something from anime. :XD: Though our uniform skirts were black, not blue, and 2/3 of the chess club were guys.

That sounds like an intense plot. :o If I lost a chess match, would entire world be destroyed?! We probably were fighting aliens without even knowing that.

Probably. :XD: Sometimes weirdest views are born when you're blindfolded. Though a couple years ago I managed to draw a very precise portrait of a person while I was blindfolded. Till this day I'm not sure how I managed to do that.

Ah. Unlike with sleeping, I'm one of the lucky ones here, too, and could get the best grades while doing nothing. I chose art instead of chess. You chose chess, and became far better at art than me anyway. This is how amazing you were in school.

My school wasn't this boring, but it was still easy for me. But I did not need to be skipped ahead at all because I needed to learn the life lessons of school so badly. I wasn't saving the world secretly from aliens like you :alientwo:=P so I needed to get the life experience. In fact, I still didn't get enough of that, so college resulted in failure.
